Doobox releases 'Ice'. Hover effects for RapidWeaver images.

Ice from Doobox, Review By Rob Hall, CEO at rjh Web Design Rating: 5 out of 5. A caption, an icon or both, may be displayed in a hover overlay. The overlay itself, the text and the icons can be any colour you choose and there are settings for transparency.

Add rollover captions and/or icons to your images.

ice

Ice from Doobox will find images that you've added to the stack and create unique hover effects for them. Images need not be arranged in any particular order inside the stack. Ice will recognise images within mixed content and apply the hover effect to them.

Doobox-Ice

A caption, an icon or both, may be displayed in the hover overlay. The overlay itself, the text and the icons can be any colour you choose and there are settings for transparency. There are 19 built in icons to choose from. An interesting effect is that the rollover slides into the image from whichever direction the mouse approaches it.

As ice is simply a container, it is fully responsive, but will be quite happy to do it's magic in fixed width themes too.

Joe Workman's Portfolio is Flourishing …

This message appeared online today:

Hola Amigos.
El Presidente is pleased to announce that the El Stacko stacks have been acquired by RapidWeaver stack guru, Joe Workman.
Joe is going to add shiny new code to many of the stacks to bring them up to date.

In addition, http://www.jonasthemes.com has been down for some months now and displays a message to the effect that no further support can be supplied, due to a change of direction.

Pure speculation, of course, but I recently heard that Joe wants to offer RapidWeaver Themes, as well as stacks. Pressure Design has already been added to JW's portfolio. Perhaps we can find Jonas' themes on Joe's site soon too?
